Reporters Announced in the First Newsletter
It's about time that "Newsletter" option got used. I enabled it sometime after tokens went in when I saw it. After reading it, it looks like it's going to be (hopefully) a regular monthly installment of just what's going on over there at IWG. But what really tweaked my interest was that they announced the winners of the Reporter's contest.
Congratulations to Diva Fresh and Tempester for being selected to report on player activities in Ashen Empires. Oddly enough, I actually know both of these people. And I know they'll do a good job, even if they're both a little on the nutty side. ;)
Another thing to take note of in the newsletter: A 10% bonus on purchased tokens! Now that isn't bad at all.

No one from L though...wonder why.
Well, looking at the response thread (The AE News Reporter: Who is planning on applying), of the people that responded there, maybe 5 were from L (only going on who I could count). And of those 5 from L, 1 said they sent their entry in while 1 or 2 said that they "might".
But, of course, we don't really know who all applied based on just one thread there. And of those from L that did apply, we don't know what they submitted. After all, you don't want someone picked just because they're from L. It wouldn't be worth it to choose someone who couldn't write and have them make a fool of themselves as a community representative, right?
I'm not going to push the issue to know what the submissions were, though. After all, it wasn't a community vote and it's their website that these folks will be publishing on.
